Thus, the main material of lock body have iron, stainless steel and some zinc-alloy, the copper is used in lock spring bolt, is seldom used in internal structure. The price of stainless steel is expensive, machining is difficulty, its main process have precision casting, stretching process and etc; the performance of iron is the best in using currently lock body. But the mostly of lock body are use stainless steel, such as lock spring bolt, lock spindle, lock rotating part, it can get better durable performance and service reliability, the other components can use iron which reduce cost, its process is same as the stainless steel, and for lowest- cost parts, it will use iron and stainless iron, even use low-powder metallurgy in lock spring bolt process(the quality of high powder metallurgy is very well, but the cost is very high), low-cost, but the less reliability and durability.
