Powder forging of titanium alloys

The forging process of powder titanium alloy is basically the same as that of nickel-based heat resistant alloy powder. The titanium alloy powder is prepared into preformed blank by hot isostatic pressing, and then forged. Powder forged titanium alloys are suitable for the preparation of high-temperature engine parts, such as propellers, compressor discs, blades and impellers. The alloy element content of titanium alloy is high, the casting billet component segregation is serious, the plasticity is poor, the casting forming is difficult, and the powder forging process can overcome the defect.
